January/February 2010 Issue

The January/February 2010 issue is now at the printer. The cover features our General Headquarters Elm Springs after a February 2008 snow. Inside we have the first info on our 2010 Reunion, the conclusion of General Semmes’ war time reports, a report on the new gravestone for Heros von Borcke in Germany and much, much more.

Nov/Dec ’09 Update

The November/December issue is in the mail and should start showing up in mailboxes late next week (last week of October). The deadline for the January/February 2010 issue is November 1.

November/December 2009 Issue

The November/December 2009 issue is at the printers. This issue pays final tribute to Past Commander-in-Chief Eble who recently passed away. A complete review of the Oakwood Cemetery project in Richmond, VA, is included. Richmond’s Oakwood is the largest known Confederate cemetery. Plus, the recently uncovered papers of Brigadier General Paul Jones Semmes are shared with our readers. And more!

September/October 2009

The September/October 2009 issue is now at the printer. This time we feature a different viewpoint on Lincoln from what you usually see, a report on our recent reunion in Hot Springs, AR, and many other features. The deadline for the next issue is September 1, 2009.

July/August 2009 Issue

Our July/August issue went to the printer on May 31. Part two of Lee at Gettysburg is featured along with a detailed article about the new Membership Renewal System (MRS) many Divisions art adopting. Constitutional amendments are attached inside the back cover. Please remove and bring them with you to Hot Springs in July.

May/June ’09 Update

Everyone should have their May/June issue by now. If not, you should receive yours in a few days. Today is the deadline for the July/August issue. Please let me know if you have any questions.

May/June 2009 Issue

Our May/June 2009 issue is at the printer. The feature article this time spotlights Lee at Gettysburg. Updated information on this summer’s reunion and Sam Davis Youth Camp is included. Plus a report on the recent Stephen D. Lee Institute.

March/April ’09 Issue Update

I spoke with our printer late yesterday afternoon and was informed our March/April issue will be mailed no later than February 20. 

I attended the S.D. Lee Institute in Charleston, SC, last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was my first one and I strongly encourage everyone to attend in the future. I know I will.

March/April 2009 Issue

The March/April 2009 issue was sent to the printer on February 1. It should be mailed in about two weeks and arrive in everyone’s mailbox by March 1. This issue features Point Lookout and the new memorial park.
