July/August 2012 Issue

The July/August issue was sent to the printer on May 31. Our Sesquicentennial series continues with John Taylor's essay What We Have to Expect: The Extradition Cases and Secession. Join Real Son Luther Otho Lucas from St. Louis as he celebrates his 100th birthday. The cover is a drawing of the 1st Virginia Cavalry drawn in 1862. Plus all of our usual features and articles.

The May/June issue is in the mail and members should be receiving their copies any day now. The deadline for the July/August issue is May 1.

May/June 2012 Issue

Our May/June 2012 issue is off to the printer. The cover is a photo from the 2012 Confederate Heritage Rally in Richmond, Virginia on February 25. Ron Kennedy presents Lincoln, Federal Supremacy and the Death of States’ Rights as our Sesquicentennial Series article. Undated info for our Murfreesboro Reunion is included along with the Sam Davis Youth Camp. Karen Stokes returns with Some Parallels Between 1776 and 1861, and all of our usual features plus the proposed constitutional amendments.

March/April 2012 Update

Our March/April issue is in the mail and some members are already receiving it. Everyone should receive their copy this week!

March/April 2012 Issue

Our March/April issue went to the printer on February 1. Dr. Boyd Cathey continues our Sesquicentennial Series with his essay on The Land We Love: Southern Tradition and Our Future. Dr. Cathey is an excellent writer and really gives us a look at where we’ve been and what may lie in our future. I think you’ll enjoy it. We are slowing losing our Real Sons. These gentlemen are our last living links to our ancestors. Two of our compatriots passed away as we were finishing up this issue and a final tribute is included. Plus our usual features and articles.
