January/February 2010 Issue


The January/February 2010 issue is now at the printer. The cover features our General Headquarters Elm Springs after a February 2008 snow. Inside we have the first info on our 2010 Reunion, the conclusion of General Semmes’ war time reports, a report on the new gravestone for Heros von Borcke in Germany and much, much more.

November/December 2009 Issue


The November/December 2009 issue is at the printers. This issue pays final tribute to Past Commander-in-Chief Eble who recently passed away. A complete review of the Oakwood Cemetery project in Richmond, VA, is included. Richmond’s Oakwood is the largest known Confederate cemetery. Plus, the recently uncovered papers of Brigadier General Paul Jones Semmes are shared with our readers. And more!

July/August 2009 Issue


Our July/August issue went to the printer on May 31. Part two of Lee at Gettysburg is featured along with a detailed article about the new Membership Renewal System (MRS) many Divisions art adopting. Constitutional amendments are attached inside the back cover. Please remove and bring them with you to Hot Springs in July.

March/April ’09 Issue Update

I spoke with our printer late yesterday afternoon and was informed our March/April issue will be mailed no later than February 20. 

I attended the S.D. Lee Institute in Charleston, SC, last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was my first one and I strongly encourage everyone to attend in the future. I know I will.

The March/April 2009 issue was sent to the printer on February 1. It should be mailed in about two weeks and arrive in everyone’s mailbox by March 1. This issue features Point Lookout and the new memorial park.
