May/June 2008 Issue

The May/June 2008 issue is at the printer. You should look for it in your mailbox in the next couple of weeks. We continue our celebration of the Year of Davis with details about the  proposed statue of President Davis at Tredegar Ironworks in Richmond, VA.

The beginning

Hi! During my trip to the grand re-opening of Beauvoir during the first week of June, I realized the Confederate Veteran magazine needed a presence on the Internet. I decided to start this blog as a beginning. I don't really have anything profound to say, but the Veteran is an information source to our members. However, in the 21st Century, information is transmitted faster than ever before in history. I felt this would be a good way to let SCV members know about their magazine. Please let me know what you think at eic@scv.org.
